Statement of Purpose
Laurel Youth Fellowship (LYF) exists to help students build relationships with God, one another, and mature Christians as we help each other establish our place in God's kingdom.
One of the main goals of our Bible classes and Wednesday night gathering is that our students understand the heart of God on a deeper level. Our hope is that students begin to see God at work in the world around them.
Our teaching centers around 7 checkpoints based on Stuart Hall's book. Those checkpoints are: Authentic Faith, Spiritual Disciplines, Moral Boundaries, Meaningful Friendships, Wise Choices, Ultimate Authority, and Others First.
